The University of Connecticut has been using submetering as part of its comprehensive energy management system for years. Electric, water and steam are submetered across 75 percent of campus buildings.
The technology uses includes meters from Schneider Electric, Sensus, Neptune, among others. Square D products are used and the data are communicated through the Schneider /Andover Controls BMS systems. OSIsoft is also used.
